Pay Rate:
Up to $28.00/hour, depending on experience.
Assignment Length:
6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Shift Details:
Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm |
Possible Overtime Responsibilities:
Consults with the end user to define data migration requirements and perform the data migration, if required. Provide training and general guidance to other members of the team. Coordinate with the desktop architecture team when bringing in new desktop images or when adjusting procedures. Adheres to and enforces facility security measures, company safety standards and software licensing procedures. Coordinate special requests for distribution to technician I and technician II staff. Monitors for trouble tickets and coordinates with appropriate vendors for equipment repair as needed. Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed. Job tasks, correctly performed, have minimal impact upon the viability of the organization. Error is readily ascertainable by the supervisor and can be corrected.
Qualifications:
Skills are typically acquired through an A+ certification or equivalent. 4 years of experience in a PC related field which includes experience in software and hardware configuration. A+ / A+ Networking certifications are useful but not required. Strong expertise in desktop operating systems and MS Office productivity support. Experience with networking support and light server administration. Capable of managing inventory and handling hardware/software requisitions. Proven history of providing desktop support in a fast-paced environment.
