This role is a hands-on, onsite IT support position focused on deploying and relocating computer workstations during an office expansion project. The ideal candidate has basic IT and hardware knowledge, can image/re-image computers (SCCM preferred), and is comfortable physically setting up, moving, and organizing equipment, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities include assembling and installing workstations, managing cables, troubleshooting basic technical issues, and tracking inventory. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and 1-2 years of desktop support or help desk experience are preferred, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-based environment interacting directly with end users. Description Physical unboxing, transportation, and setup of computer workstations and peripheral devices. This role ensures that employees are equipped with fully functional technology during office moves, new office openings, or hardware refresh cycles.Key Responsibilities:
Physical Setup & Relocation:
Disconnect, pack, transport, and reconnect computers, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals (printers, scanners, keyboards).Deployment:
Unbox and assemble new hardware, ensuring all components are accounted for and properly tested before user handover.Cable Management:
Route and secure all wiring (Ethernet, power, video) neatly to maintain organized and safe workstations.System Configuration:
Perform initial imaging/re-imaging of computers and configure basic network settings to ensure immediate connectivity.Asset Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records, including serial numbers and workstation locations, throughout the relocation process.Post-Move Support:
Provide on-site troubleshooting for end users immediately following a move to resolve hardware or connectivity issues.
