Customer Engineering Services (CES) is seeking a self-motivated Quality Support Specialist (QSS) to support photo operations at Walmart locations throughout an assigned regional territory. This is a field-based role for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving quality and operational problems, training others, and working independently. You will partner with Walmart management and associates, field representatives, and other support teams to help ensure photo equipment operates properly and customer photo orders are produced consistently according to established quality standards. The position involves extensive driving, regular visits to customer locations, and occasional overnight, evening, and weekend work. What You'll Do Train and guide Walmart associates on photo-equipment operation, routine maintenance, photo quality, and established operational procedures. Troubleshoot hardware, software, equipment operation, and photo-quality issues. Determine the appropriate corrective action and escalate more complex issues when necessary. Review maintenance records, system reports, and field information to identify recurring equipment, quality, or training concerns. Develop and follow up on action plans designed to improve equipment performance and photo quality. Conduct ride-along visits with field representatives to reinforce procedures, support consistent field execution, and identify training opportunities. Collaborate with Walmart management, field representatives, the Walmart support hotline, and other resources to resolve issues and improve operational performance. Provide coaching, technical guidance, and operational support to field personnel. Plan and prioritize territory activity based on equipment performance, quality concerns, training needs, and business priorities. Complete reports, service documentation, timecards, expense reports, and other administrative responsibilities accurately and on time. Follow all CES and client policies, operational standards, and safety requirements. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. Two years of technical or electronics education, or equivalent relevant work experience. At least two years of technical or field-service experience involving the operation, maintenance, or repair of photofinishing or related electromechanical equipment. Ability to troubleshoot technical, equipment, software, and operational issues. Experience using basic electronic tools. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer-based systems. Strong communication, interpersonal, training, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently, manage a large geographic territory, and follow established procedures. Ability to build effective working relationships with customer management, store associates, and field personnel. Travel and Schedule Requirements Primarily works at customer locations throughout a large geographic territory Extensive driving is required. Overnight travel may be required approximately 20-30% of the time, depending on territory needs. Occasional evening and weekend work or call-outs may be required. Home-office work is required for territory planning, report review, and administrative responsibilities. A valid driver's license and the ability to meet company driving requirements are required. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to occasionally climb stairs or ladders and work in confined spaces. Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for extended periods. Visual acuity sufficient to drive safely and perform equipment-related responsibilities.
