Job Description
We are seeking a Workstation Specialist with advanced PC installation, support, and troubleshooting experience to provide Tier 2 desktop support for users across multiple office and remote field locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, peripherals, and network connectivity while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role requires regular travel to multiple work sites. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license , be comfortable using their personal vehicle for business travel (reimbursable), and be able to transport computer equipment such as desktops, monitors, and printers. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and software. Deploy, image, upgrade, and repair Windows-based workstations. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco VPN routers and Cisco AnyConnect VPN. Configure workstation names and user accounts using Active Directory. Install and troubleshoot Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling, terminations, and patching. Support printers, multifunction devices, docking stations, and other peripherals. Provide Tier 2 support through onsite, remote, phone, and email assistance. Troubleshoot SCCM deployments, monitor workstation compliance, and generate SCCM reports. Create, update, and manage tickets using Remedy or similar ticketing systems. Configure, deploy, and support iPhones, iPads, and mobile devices using MDM. Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset management records. Support telecommunications equipment including VoIP phones, conferencing systems, smartboards, and Microsoft Teams. Document technical procedures and recommend process improvements. Train end users on newly deployed hardware and software. Required Skills & Experience Valid Driver's License. Willingness and flexibility to travel to multiple locations as needed. 4+ years of experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC hardware and software in an enterprise LAN/WAN environment. 4+ years of experience supporting laptops and docking stations. 4+ years of experience supporting multifunction printers. 2+ years of experience using Remedy or a similar IT ticketing system. 2+ years of experience installing and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling.
