Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented IT Support / Field Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at troubleshooting, and provides exceptional face-to-face support to our clients.
Responsibilities On-Site Support:
Travel to various client sites to install, configure, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and network peripherals.
Remote Support:
Diagnose and resolve technical problems remotely using helpdesk ticketing software and remote access tools.
Network Troubleshooting:
Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity, VoIP systems, and Wi-Fi networks at client facilities.
Documentation:
Document all processes, update asset inventories, and produce detailed service reports for completed jobs.
Requirements Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT support, desktop support, or field service.
Education:
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent field experience.
Certifications:
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MD-100) are preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory basics, and VPN client configuration.
Soft Skills:
Outstanding customer service, problem solving, critical thinking, and the ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical users.
Physical & Travel Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to climb ladders and work at elevated heights. Travel to client sites within the local Central PA region (no overnight travel).
