Job Description

We are looking for a Hardware Support Technician / Depot Technician to provide hands-on support for computers and IT equipment at our Pittston, PA location. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in computer hardware repair, desktop support, help desk, or technical support . The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, configuring, and tracking computer equipment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose desktop and laptop hardware issues. Perform basic hardware repairs and component replacements. Rebuild, reimage, and configure computers for new users. Prepare computers and equipment for deployment. Receive and process hardware repair requests. Document troubleshooting steps and repairs in the ticketing system. Prioritize repair requests according to required turnaround times. Prepare equipment for manufacturer repair when needed. Track IT assets and maintain accurate equipment records. Troubleshoot basic Windows and Microsoft Office issues. Perform basic network troubleshooting. Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain equipment according to manufacturer guidelines. Assist with special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with computer hardware repair or technical support . Hands-on experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, or other IT equipment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Basic understanding of networking and connectivity. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Computer Hardware, IT, or a related field. Previous help desk, desktop support, depot support, or service desk experience. Experience with ticketing systems. Experience with asset tracking and IT equipment management. Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally stand and walk during the workday. Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 20 lbs. Ability to work in an onsite technical support/depot environment. NOBLE Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
