This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.

U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders Preferred Role Overview We are looking for a reliable and technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests when required and providing hands-on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client location. This is a contract-based, on-demand position, meaning work assignments will be provided as and when support is required. Availability and responsiveness are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities- Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
- Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
- Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
- Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
- Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
- Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
- Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in onsite support environments Tools Required to Carry Engineers must carry the following tools while attending onsite support requests:
- Windows Laptop
- LAN Cable
- Console Cable
- Screwdriver Toolkit
- Basic IT troubleshooting tools Work Model
- On-demand / field support role
- Work assignments will be shared by the Service Delivery Team
- Engineers will be contacted via phone or email when support is required
- Engineers will receive site location, SPOC details, and reporting time before each assignment
