Job Description
We are looking for an IT Support Technician to provide dependable technical support at a manufacturing site in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on desktop support, user assistance, and keeping day-to-day technology operations running efficiently. The person in this role will work across hardware, software, and account administration needs while supporting employees in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deploy laptops and desktop computers by imaging systems, applying configurations, and setting up devices for new and existing employees.
- Administer user access by creating, modifying, and maintaining accounts across Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Respond to technical issues involving hardware, operating systems, applications, and user access with timely and effective solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve end-user problems through both on-site support and remote assistance methods.
- Set up workstations, replace outdated or faulty equipment, and provide ongoing desktop support throughout the facility.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to maintain reliable daily technology operations within a busy manufacturing setting.
- Track, update, and help resolve service desk requests to ensure support activities are documented and completed accurately.
- At least 2 years of experience in help desk, desktop support, or a comparable IT support position.
- Practical experience working with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user administration.
- Familiarity with Windows environments, including Windows 10, device imaging, and workstation deployment.
- Working knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting for end-user systems.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while supporting a broad range of users and technology needs.
- Experience working with service desk tickets and support request tracking.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments is helpful, though not required.
