Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to support our UK customer base, with a strong focus on cloud-hosted environments and infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in troubleshooting complex application and hosting-related issues, particularly following system upgrades, database refreshes, and performance incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced technical support for cloud-hosted applications (Azure environment) Troubleshoot issues related to: Database refreshes and upgrades Application errors in test and production environments Batch processing and performance degradation Collaborate with Hosting and Infrastructure teams to resolve escalations Analyze recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions Support customer environments including testing and production systems Document solutions and contribute to knowledge base articles
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS) Solid understanding of SQL Server and database management Experience supporting hosted/SaaS applications Ability to diagnose performance issues and system errors Familiarity with incident management tools (e.g., Zendesk or similar) Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with enterprise asset management or fleet management systems Knowledge of application integrations and data pipelines Exposure to ITIL practices or structured support environments
Key Competencies:
Strong communication skills (customer-facing) Ability to work independently in a remote environment Collaboration across global teams (US/UK coordination)
