first PRO is hiring a Desktop Services PC Technician for a growing organization in the Greater Reading, PA area. We are seeking a dependable and motivated IT professional to provide hands-on desktop support, workstation deployments, and end-user technical assistance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with technology and end users in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Configure, image, reimage, and deploy desktop and laptop computers. Install and configure monitors, docking stations, printers, and other peripheral equipment. Perform software installations, upgrades, and data transfers. Provide deskside support by troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues. Set up workstations for new hires and replacement equipment. Support office moves by disconnecting, relocating, and reconnecting IT equipment. Manage and prioritize support requests through a ticketing system. Coordinate directly with end users to schedule equipment deployments and resolve technical issues. Partner with internal IT teams to ensure timely resolution of support requests. Adapt to changing priorities and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic environment. Qualifications 2+ years of desktop support or PC technician experience. Hands-on experience with PC imaging and reimaging. Experience installing and supporting desktop software. Experience providing deskside technical support. Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, ServiceNow, Eracent, or similar endpoint management or ticketing platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus. Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to lift and move computer equipment and walk between work locations throughout the day. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting workstation deployments and office relocations. Experience working in an enterprise IT support environment. Why Apply?
