Job Title:
Event Support Engineer Location(s): Warren, NJ Job Summary We are seeking an Event Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for corporate meetings, conferences, and events across office locations and off-site venues. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting audio/video systems, conferencing technologies, and hybrid meeting environments while delivering exceptional customer service and real-time troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Provide on-site and remote technical support for internal and external meetings, conferences, and corporate events. Set up, configure, test, and operate audio/visual equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, video walls, displays, and conferencing systems. Support and troubleshoot virtual meeting platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and similar collaboration tools. Partner with IT, Facilities, and Event Planning teams to ensure successful event execution. Maintain inventory, storage, and readiness of A/V equipment and related accessories. Deliver real-time technical support during live events with minimal disruption. Support event recording, live streaming, and post-event media management. Train employees on meeting room technologies and conferencing best practices. Rmend improvements and enhancements to event technology and collaboration solutions. Required Qualifications Proven experience supporting corporate events, conference rooms, or A/V technologies. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and other virtual meeting platforms. Strong understanding of audio/visual equipment including mixers, switchers, microphones, speakers, displays, and projection systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced environment. Strongmunication and customer service skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, based on event schedules. Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be local to New Jersey and able to work on-site in Warren, NJ and travel to nearby event locations as needed. Preferred Qualifications Certifications related to A/V technologies or conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.). Experience supporting hybrid events and live streaming technologies. Familiarity with event scheduling or event management software. Additional Notes Team Interview is Mandatory.
