Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, capable of performing all jobs including the most complex. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practices. Work is checked since errors may cause delay or expense. May assist and train less experienced personnel. Provides basic Tier I support to end users on a variety of computers and associated networks issues. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Enters information into ticket system and creates trouble reports for IT Support Technicians. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Teach clients to resolve routine/minor hardware and software problems; guide users in the development and use OS computer assisted and managed technology. Support special projects related to client support and operations related activities. Work with external vendors, as required.
Qualifications:
HS 3-4 Years Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication skills Excellent customer technical and product support Proficient in information technology and operations management Ability to work independently on problems and projects Able and willing to learn new as well as existing technologies and be a contributing member of a Technical Team Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance (Active Secret is preferred) Ability to obtain and maintain CompTIA Security+ certification
Equal Pay Act:
This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
