This role will work 20 hours per week at a rate of $30/hour and will help ensure reliable IT support and smooth operations.

On-site / Remote / Hybrid if applicable) Key Responsibilities Provide helpdesk support via phone, email, and ticketing system Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to: Windows/Mac operating systems Email and basic productivity tools Password resets and account access Network connectivity (Wi-Fi/LAN) Printers and common peripherals Common software applications Log, document, and track support requests in the ticketing system Escalate unresolved or complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors Perform basic hardware troubleshooting (PC/laptop peripherals, cabling, accessories) Support user onboarding/offboarding tasks as needed (accounts, access, device setup) Maintain knowledge base articles and update documentation Assist with routine IT tasks (patching support, device checks, inventory support) Qualifications Prior experience in a helpdesk or IT support role (preferred) Strong troubleshooting skills and customer service mindset Working knowledge of: Networking basics (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, Wi-Fi) Active Directory / user management (preferred) Ticketing systems (e.g., Freshservice) Windows and/or macOS environments Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical users Reliability and responsiveness during support hours Education (Optional) High school diploma required; Associate's degree or relevant IT certification preferred (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive) Basic understanding of cybersecurity best practices (phishing awareness, MFA, etc.) Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS/Android) or endpoint management tools Physical/Work Requirements (Optional) Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (typically up to ~25 lbs / 11 kg) as needed Ability to sit/stand at a workstation and work with computers for extended periods Application Notes (Optional) Please include: Resume Any relevant certifications Availability for the 20-hour weekly schedule
