Job Description

IT/Data Specialist (Full-time, salaried, exempt position)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The IT and Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining Centre Helps' technology infrastructure and turning program and organizational data into actionable insight. This is a hybrid role combining critical hands-on IT support and systems administration with data analysis supporting grant reporting, program evaluation, and organizational decision-making. This position plays a key role in supporting cybersecurity compliance and data integrity across Centre Helps' programs, including the 988 crisis hotline. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is critical. Flexible scheduling; some evening and weekend work required. 35 hour work week. REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years experience in IT support and/or data analysis; nonprofit or human services setting a plus
  • Proficiency with data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Data Studio)
  • Working knowledge of network administration, cybersecurity basics, and common office software/systems
  • Experience with a CRM, case management, or client database system a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical/data concepts for non-technical staff
  • High degree of discretion with sensitive client and organizational data
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IT
/ Systems (~50%)
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to staff (hardware, software, network, phone systems)
  • Maintain and troubleshoot agency computers, servers, and office technology
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across agency systems
  • Support cybersecurity compliance efforts, including monitoring, basic incident response, and coordination with any external IT/security vendors
  • Maintain data backup and disaster recovery processes
  • Evaluate and recommend new hardware/software as needs arise
  • Maintain relationships with external IT vendors/contractors as needed
  • Support the 988 hotline's technology needs (phone/text/chat platforms, uptime, troubleshooting) Data Analysis (~50%)
  • Collect, clean, and maintain program and outcomes data across Centre Helps programs
  • Build and maintain dashboards/reports for internal use and board reporting
  • Support grant reporting by compiling required data and metrics for funders
  • Assist with data components of grant proposals (e.g., Centre County-specific need data, program outcome data)
  • Analyze trends in program utilization (e.g., hotline call volume, case management outcomes) to support program and budget planning
