Tri-State Motor Transit is seeking a motivated, curious, detailed, and diligent IT Specialist to join our Infrastructure team in serving our company's users and supporting its goals to stay nimble in the fast-moving world of technology. Key Accountabilities (Essential Functions): Assisting users with Day-to-Day IT issues on-site Providing Excellent Service & Attention to Detail in all work Assisting the IT Team with remote calls and incoming tickets from all locations with a focus on your physical office Keeping Track of IT-related inventory and submitting regular supply orders, as well as the deliveries of IT assets, both hardware and software Troubleshooting Hardware and Software in a Windows Environment Participating in Weekly Server Maintenance Utilizing Remote Applications to assist users working from home Being Flexible should emergency or physical needs arise and be On-Call with the rest of your team Responsible for effectively communicating with your team about issues that arise and keeping good documentation on Solutions or Ticket Closures Facilitate & Participate in Cross-Training as Needed Keeping Management, Team, and End-Users informed of any changes or developments in ongoing projects Manage Projects & Project Work as assigned Assist the On-Site Staff with Android Tablets and Mobile Device Management (MDM) Other General IT Infrastructure Duties as necessaryAssigned Work Region:
In-office in Joplin, MO, with opportunity for a flexible hybrid schedule. Require some travel to our outside terminals for work related functions.General Requirements:
Education:
A High School Diploma/GED (Associates Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent is a Plus). Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted.Knowledge:
- Completed Course work including training or experience with one or more work station computers and one or more programming languages and one or more operating systems.
- General Knowledge of VMWare and Virtual Machines is a Plus
- Understanding Active Directory & Group Policy
- Understanding General Computer & Server Network, Architecture, and Storage System Mapping
- Understanding On-Premise Service Delivery in a Non-Cloud Environment
- (Optional): Knowledge of Access Control Systems & Security Camera Systems are a plus, but not required.
Experience & Skills:
Two years of Experience and Skills in the following- Microsoft Office Installation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
- General Software Installation, Staging, Imaging, and Troubleshooting
- Customer Service or User Experience
- General Cybersecurity Training or Security Practices
- A Ticketing System, such as NOVA/STAR, Jira, ServiceDesk, or Footprints
- Building, Repairing, Hardware Replacements and Imaging on all computer form factors (ATX, micro-ATX, laptop, tablet PCs)
Security Clearance:
M ust be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)Secret Clearance Physical Abilities Required:
