Adept Technology offers a variety of technology assistance packages for our customers. It's our intention to provide support from start to finish and beyond.Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Field Service Representative to provide on-site and remote technical support to our clients in Nassau county, travel is required. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in computer support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients to resolve technical challenges.Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for clients in a field service capacity.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Communicate clearly with clients to understand their technical needs and explain solutions in a user-friendly manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Document service activities, including issue resolution and client interactions, in a detailed and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in computer support, field service, or a related technical role.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Proficiency in [list specific systems/software, e.g., Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office, or ticketing systems].
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed. Travel to Nassau county required.
Optional:
Relevant certifications, e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Information Systems or Business preferred

Pay:
