Job Description

If you're ready to grow and make an impact, we'd love to be on your team. We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team. You'll work alongside our IT Support and IT Infrastructure teams to provide end-user technical support and troubleshooting for on-site and remote employees. In this role you'll serve as a key point of contact for diagnosing and resolving technical issues, supporting workstation deployments, maintaining IT assets, and providing a high level of customer service. You will work with Microsoft 365 technologies, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, SaaS applications, and a variety of hardware and software tools. This is an on-site role with a Monday - Friday schedule reporting to our Deer Park, TX office Success in this role means providing responsive, customer-focused support; resolving common technical issues efficiently; keeping equipment and support records accurate; protecting AWC systems and data; and creating a dependable employee technology experience through clear communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through. How you'll make an impact: Deliver Responsive End-User Support Provide first-level support for account access, password resets, email, and basic networking issues Diagnose and resolve technical problems involving computer hardware, peripherals, and software Support employees onsite and remotely with a customer-first mindset Escalate complex issues to higher levels of support when appropriate Deploy and Support AWC Technology Deploy, configure, and support Windows and macOS operating systems and applications across desktop and mobile platforms Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including workstation setup and account provisioning Maintain asset inventory and ensure equipment is accurately tracked throughout its lifecycle Maintain Strong Support Documentation Document support issues, resolutions, and best practices in FreshService Maintain clear and accurate ticket records that support knowledge sharing, handoffs, and continuous improvement Protect Systems and Data Follow IT security, privacy, and compliance policies to safeguard AWC systems and data Skills you'll need: Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or 1+ year of equivalent helpdesk experience Proficiency in computer hardware diagnostics and PC repair Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Here's what will set you apart: CompTIA A+ or a similar IT certification Experience with ticketing systems such as FreshService, Zendesk, or ServiceNow Familiarity with remote support tools such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)
