Full-Time About the Role Total Network Solutions (TNS) is hiring an IT Support Specialist who can own onsite end-user support while growing into a Junior Systems Administrator role. This is not a "ticket taker" position. You'll be the face of IT onsite , handling day-to-day support while also working with senior engineers on systems, Microsoft 365, and infrastructure. If you're someone who wants to move beyond basic desktop support and build real sysadmin skills, this is the role. What You'll Do Provide onsite deskside support for users across multiple locations Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and OS issues (Windows environment) Perform device setup, imaging, deployments, and break/fix repairs Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) Handle user administration (AD / Entra ID / password resets / access changes) Troubleshoot network issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN connectivity) Work within ticketing systems (Autotask, ServiceNow, etc.) with clear documentation Utilize RMM and security tools (NinjaRMM, Huntress, IT Glue or similar) Assist with endpoint management (Intune), patching, and system updates Escalate appropriately—but own issues through resolution Deliver a high-quality, professional onsite support experience What We're Looking For 2-5 years of experience in IT support / desktop / deskside support Strong hands-on skills with: Windows 10/11 Desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting Microsoft 365 Solid understanding of: Active Directory / Entra ID basics Networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, VPN, DHCP) Experience with ticketing systems and structured support environments Strong communication skills—can work directly with non-technical users Able to work independently onsite without hand-holding Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Nice to Have (This is where you stand out) Experience with Intune / endpoint management Exposure to server environments (Windows Server, virtualization) MSP experience (fast-paced, multi-client environments) Scripting or automation exposure (PowerShell a plus) Why This Role is Different You're not stuck at helpdesk—you'll gain real systems experience Work alongside a senior engineering team Clear path toward Systems Administrator / Engineer Exposure to modern tools: M365, security stack, RMM automation Structured environment with defined processes and expectations Compensation & Benefits (You should absolutely add this on Indeed—if you skip it, you lose good candidates) Salary (based on experience) Health, dental, vision (if applicable) Paid time off Mileage reimbursement for site travel Training and career growth opportunities Who This Role is Perfect For Someone who: Wants to grow into systems administration Takes ownership and doesn't wait to be told what to do Can handle users professionally without getting rattled Who This Role is NOT For Someone who only wants remote work Someone who avoids user interaction Someone who needs constant direction

Pay:

$24.30 - $29.27 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
