This position is for someone who enjoys helping people, is comfortable walking into professional offices, and can troubleshoot technology problems with confidence. You will often work independently at client locations while collaborating with our experienced consulting team whenever an issue requires additional expertise. Strong technical skills are important, but this role is equally about people. Our clients include attorneys, legal professionals, and administrative staff with varying levels of technical experience. The right person will communicate clearly, remain patient under pressure, and treat every user with respect. You will report to and work closely with a senior member of our technical team, providing an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and advance over time. We support the full range of technology our clients rely on, including computers, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, servers, networks, software, and cloud services. Our clients are people, not just computers and systems. We believe effective technology support begins with trust and strong working relationships. We take the time to understand the people we support, how they work, security implications and what they need from their technology. We structure our work so our technicians become familiar with each firm's people, systems, and day-to-day workflows. We are looking for someone who can build those relationships, contribute to our established team, and grow with our company over the years. Work Location and Schedule This is a full-time position primarily performed during weekday business hours. The role will initially include a combination of: Working from our downtown Seattle office Visiting client offices to provide onsite assistance Providing remote technical support Working from home when appropriate as the position develops Most client offices are located in or near downtown Seattle. You must be comfortable traveling between nearby offices and arriving promptly when onsite assistance is needed. Team members are encouraged, but not required, to participate in our weekend on-call rotation, which may involve being on call for up to one weekend per month. On-call participants receive after-hours pay plus bonus. Occasionally, scheduled projects, equipment deployments, or urgent situations may require assistance from the entire team outside regular business hours. This could include evenings, early mornings, or weekends. Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional technical support Visit law firm offices to troubleshoot problems and assist users in person Respond to remote support requests during business hours Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, printing, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues Set up and deploy computers, laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices, tablets, and related equipment Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows applications and devices Collaborate with senior team members to resolve complex issues Manage assigned tasks and organize the workday independently Communicate clearly with clients about problems, expectations, and next steps Maintain accurate and timely records of all client work, including tracking and entering billable time. Document client systems, completed work, and solutions for our internal knowledge base Protect confidential and sensitive client information Inspect, move, replace, and install equipment, including devices located under desks or in other hard-to-reach areas Qualifications Friendly, patient, and able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of personalities Comfortable providing onsite support in professional office environments Confident working directly with attorneys, executives, and office staff Able to troubleshoot independently while knowing when to ask for assistance Working knowledge of Windows computers in networked business environments Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services Ability to deploy and configure computers, software, peripherals, and user accounts Basic understanding of networking, printers, and Windows Server domain environments Organized, dependable, responsible, and trustworthy Able to manage multiple requests and changing priorities Comfortable traveling among downtown Seattle client locations Willing and able to perform the physical aspects of computer deployment and equipment installation Previous experience supporting law firms or other professional-services organizations is helpful but not required. We will consider candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong judgment, initiative, communication skills, and an ability to learn.
