We are seeking an on-site IT Support Technician with a strong emphasis in hardware. This hybrid role involves supporting end-user systems, server maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing IT hardware resources. The ideal candidate will have relevant certifications and technical aptitude, with the ability to work across teams and adapt to a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other end-user devices Assist with network infrastructure setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting (firewalls, switches, routers) Support user account management, permissions, and security protocols Document procedures and maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to support automation systems and secure connectivity Participate in system upgrades, patching, and hardware refresh projects Respond to helpdesk tickets and escalate issues when needed Triage user walk-upsQualifications:
Education & Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field 1-3 years of experience in IT support or network administration required Certifications (preferred): Network+ CCNA Fortinet NSE certifications Juniper certifications A+ certificationSkills:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with network protocols, IP addressing, and VLANs Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologiesOther Requirements:
Flexible hours and overtime availability when needed Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as cable routing and equipment setup Background check and drug screen requiredCompensation & Benefits:
