Job Overview Join our dynamic IT support team and become the backbone of our technological operations! As an IT / Tech Support specialist, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless computer and network functionality across our organization. Your energetic approach will help troubleshoot issues swiftly, support users effectively, and maintain our robust IT infrastructure. Responsibilities Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime Manage and maintain computer systems, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals across various operating systems such as Windows and macOS Troubleshoot software problems related to Microsoft Office applications, operating systems, and specialized enterprise tools like ServiceNow and Jira Configure and support computer networking components including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and switches to ensure secure connectivity Assist with hardware setup, installation, upgrades, and repairs for computer hardware components Monitor IT infrastructure health using tools like BMC Remedy and help desk systems to track incidents and service requests Communicate clearly with users to explain technical issues in an understandable manner while maintaining excellent customer service standards Requirements Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer management and troubleshooting techniques Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux environments Knowledge of computer networking concepts including LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network security protocols Hands-on experience with software troubleshooting across various applications including Microsoft Office suite Ability to manage computer hardware components and perform routine maintenance tasks effectively Experience working with help desk platforms like ServiceNow or Jira to document incidents and track resolutions Strong communication skills with the ability to assist users of varying technical proficiency in a friendly and professional manner Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills empower others!
