Evolve Psychiatry is seeking a knowledgeable, dependable, and solutions-oriented Full-Time IT Technician to support the technology needs of our growing psychiatric practice This position will provide hands-on and remote technical support to our clinical and administrative teams. The IT Technician will be responsible for assisting with everyday technology issues, including computer problems, printer issues, networking and connectivity issues, as well as supporting our EMR and other healthcare technology. Experience working in healthcare IT is strongly preferred, and experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is highly desirable. Knowledge of Rippling is also a plus. Responsibilities Provide daytoday technical support to clinical and administrative employees Assist with diagnosing and fixing computer issues, including hardware, software, performance, login, and connectivity problems Troubleshoot and resolve printer and scanner issues, including connectivity, configuration, and general functionality Assist with networking issues, including WiFi, internet connectivity, network connections, and other office network problems Set up and configure computers, monitors, printers, scanners, phones, and other office technology Set up user accounts, email accounts, software access, and equipment for new employees Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective Install, configure, update, and maintain software and operating systems Provide technical support and troubleshooting for eClinicalWorks (eCW) Troubleshoot common EMR/EHR user and system issues Support remote employees with technical and connectivity problems Maintain appropriate user permissions and system access Assist with password resets, account lockouts, and access issues Maintain IT equipment inventory and assist with equipment replacement and upgrades Troubleshoot video conferencing, webcams, microphones, and telehealth technology Work directly with outside vendors, eClinicalWorks support, internet providers, and other technology vendors when escalation is necessary Follow HIPAA and healthcare datasecurity requirements when working with systems containing patient information Identify recurring technical problems and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and reliability Provide onsite IT assistance at our Long Island locations when needed Qualifications 3 to 5 years of Previous experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a similar technical role Strong knowledge of computer troubleshooting, printers, networking, WiFi, and general office technology Working knowledge of Windowsbased computers, Apple computers, Google workspace, email systems, and common business software Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical employees Ability to prioritize multiple technical requests in a fastpaced environment Professional, dependable, and comfortable working in a healthcare setting Understanding of cybersecurity, user access controls, and protection of confidential information Reliable transportation is required, as occasional travel to our five Long Island office locations will be necessary when onsite IT support is needed Preferred Qualifications Candidates with the following experience will be given additional consideration: eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience Knowledge of or previous experience with Rippling Previous IT experience in a medical office setting. Experience supporting EMR/EHR systems Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare IT security requirements Experience troubleshooting computers, printers, networking, and connectivity in an office environment Experience supporting telehealth systems Experience providing IT support across multiple office locations Experience supporting remote employees Experience managing employee onboarding/offboarding, user permissions, and system access Experience communicating with EMR and technology vendors to resolve escalated issues What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is hands-on and comfortable troubleshooting everyday IT problems. This person should be able to step in when an employee's computer isn't working, a printer won't connect, the internet or network is experiencing issues, or an employee needs assistance with eClinicalWorks or another system. The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and able to take ownership of technical issues from start to resolution. Because technology and our EMR are critical to our ability to provide patient care, we are looking for someone who is responsive, patient, organized, dependable, and able to troubleshoot efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Compensation:
$60,000- $65,000 year, based on experience Healthcare IT and eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience are strongly preferred. Knowledge of Rippling is a plus.
