Job Description
Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. is seeking a Control Room Technician to support critical environments within high-profile commercial properties. In this on-site role, you will monitor building management systems, HVAC, electrical, and life safety systems to ensure continuous uptime and occupant safety. You will respond to alarms, execute SOPs, coordinate with engineering teams, and accurately log events. Responsibilities Continuously monitor building management and critical systems from the control room Respond to alarms, incidents, and service requests according to SOPs and escalation protocols Coordinate with on-site engineers, vendors, and building staff to troubleshoot issues Log events, maintain system records, and produce operational reports Perform routine checks to ensure uptime, safety, and compliance in critical environments Support preventive maintenance scheduling through CMMS or work order platforms Assist with emergency response and business continuity procedures Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and energy performance Required Skills Control room operations Building management systems (BMS) Critical environment monitoring HVAC systems Electrical systems monitoring Alarm management Incident response CMMS/work order systems Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Reporting and documentation
