Full Job Description Desktop Technician Location:
Charleston, SC Contract:
W2 only - 12 months with possible extension
Pay:
$27 /hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match Overview Candidates should have a good understanding and knowledge of installing software and setting up hardware. Proficiency in Windows 11/Office365 products/Outlook/Teams/One Drive is required. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving imaging issues for standard PCs/laptops, tough books, tablets, etc., supporting cell phones and iPads, and supporting printers/plotters. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interface with a wide variety of clients are essential. This position requires on-call rotation and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience. Key Responsibilities Supports various connectivity requirements including, but not limited to, Ethernet and TCP/IP Manages workload by wisely prioritizing his or her tasks often and adjusting to the situation at hand. Willingly cooperates and works collaboratively with a team. Configure and test client workstations to utilize VPN access using secure token identification. Increase productivity and minimize downtime by supporting all company software, operating systems, workstations, charting/drawing, and network connectivity. Install image systems with appropriate OS for client needs Install and configure core applications once base OS image has been deployed Required Skills MUST have experience as a Desktop Technician/Administrator MUST be able to troubleshoot and resolve any imaging issues for standard PCs/laptops, tough books, tablets, etc. MUST have prior experience configuring and testing client workstations to utilize VPN access using secure token identification MUST have proficiency in Windows 11/Office365 products/Outlook/Teams/One Drive Required Education Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalency (Required) Preferred Skills Preference for candidates who have worked as a LAN administrator in a regulated industry #INDGEN #ZR
