Job Description

About the role Systems Plus is a New Hampshire managed-services provider, and we are hiring our first Nashville-based technician to support a fast-growing healthcare-technology client opening a new office in Brentwood. The office is a 50-seat call center this fall, growing to 70, with a small on-site management team. You will be the face of IT on that floor. You are employed by Systems Plus and are part of our Business Services team. Day to day you take direction from the client's on-site office lead, who sets priorities for the floor; Systems Plus sets the standards, provides the tools, backs you up remotely, and is who you escalate to. 20 hours a week is reserved for Systems Plus work: ticket queue, documentation, projects and training with the rest of our team. What you will do Keep the call center running First-line support for about 70 agents and managers: laptops, docks, monitors, headsets, printers, phones. Support the browser-based call-center softphone (Five9 today, Salesforce voice next) and the network it depends on; recognize when a "phone" problem is a headset, a browser, a Wi-Fi client or the circuit, and fix or escalate accordingly. Walk the floor. Most problems at a call center are found by looking, not by waiting for a ticket. Onboarding and offboarding Build and hand out laptops from our standard image; label, record in the asset system, and update the client's onboarding tracker. Create and disable accounts across Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra/Intune, the call-center platform and the client's line-of-business apps, following the written checklist and the client's role-based access matrix. Collect, wipe and re-issue equipment at offboarding; hardware security keys and badges included. Run the first-day setup session for new-hire groups (17 starting the week of September 28, more every month). Security, done every time Enroll users on hardware security keys and security-key-only sign-in; help people who lose a key without lowering the bar. Report phishing and suspicious sign-ins the same hour, using the client's security channel; follow the incident checklist rather than improvising. Keep endpoints compliant (encryption, agent, patches) and fix what the compliance dashboard flags. Site and network Hands and eyes for the network stack (SonicWall firewall, UniFi switching and Wi-Fi, two internet circuits): cabling, patching, swapping optics and modules, checking link status, running the tests our engineers ask for. Conference rooms and shared

Basic networking:
you can read a switch port light, trace a cable, describe what a VLAN is, and tell a DNS problem from a circuit problem. Calm with people who are stressed and on the clock. Agents cannot take calls while you work; you plan around that. Writes clearly. Follows a checklist without being asked, and tells us when the checklist is wrong. Discreet. The client handles protected health information; you will sign a confidentiality agreement and a HIPAA training module is part of onboarding. Able to lift 40 lb, work under desks, and stand on a ladder for cabling.
Nice to have:
