IT Support

We are looking for a skilled IT Support specialist to provide comprehensive assistance and management of IT systems and business applications for a financial institution. This role requires a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, maintaining software and hardware, and ensuring systems comply with industry standards. This is a long-term contract position based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, offering the opportunity to support critical IT functions and contribute to the organization's efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily technical support to staff, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Assist in managing and maintaining business applications, including loan management systems and vendor databases.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with data security protocols and financial regulations.
• Collaborate with management to optimize the use of IT systems and applications.
• Coordinate with vendors to troubleshoot application issues and ensure timely data transfers.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices in collaboration with the leadership team.
• Lead small-scale technology projects, such as software installations, system integrations, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Oversee training initiatives to enhance staff proficiency in IT tools and cybersecurity awareness.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security protocols, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and ensure regular system updates and backups.
