Job Description

Martin Dentistry is seeking an experienced and service-oriented IT Systems & Support Specialist to provide internal technology support across our growing network of dental practices. This position will serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day technology needs throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can independently troubleshoot hardware, software, network, user access, and other technology issues while providing excellent support to team members with varying levels of technical experience. This role will work closely with leadership, team members, software vendors, and outside technology partners to ensure our systems remain reliable, secure, and efficient. Regular travel between Martin Dentistry locations throughout the Tri-Cities area will be required. Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support Provide timely technical support to employees across multiple Martin Dentistry locations. Troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, scanners, phones, tablets, and other office technology. Diagnose and resolve software, operating system, connectivity, and hardware issues. Assist team members with passwords, account access, multi-factor authentication, email, applications, and other technology needs. Provide remote and in-person support based on the needs of each location. Prioritize technology issues based on urgency and operational impact. User & Account Administration Set up technology, accounts, permissions, email, and system access for new employees. Coordinate removal of system access and retrieval of company technology during employee offboarding. Maintain appropriate user permissions and access levels. Assist with Microsoft 365 and other cloud-based administrative functions. Maintain accurate records of users, devices, licenses, and assigned equipment. Hardware & Infrastructure Configure, deploy, maintain, and replace computers and other technology equipment. Troubleshoot internet, Wi-Fi, network, printer, and connectivity issues. Assist with basic network and telecommunications troubleshooting. Coordinate installation and setup of technology for new offices, expansions, relocations, and renovations. Maintain an accurate inventory of technology assets and equipment. Dental & Business Systems Provide technical support for dental practice management and other business applications used throughout the organization. Troubleshoot integrations between workstations, printers, scanners, imaging equipment, and software systems. Work with software and equipment vendors to resolve issues that require vendor-level assistance. Support technology needs related to clinical, administrative, billing, and operational workflows. Security & Compliance Assist with maintaining appropriate cybersecurity practices throughout the organization. Support implementation and maintenance of multi-factor authentication, password standards, device security, antivirus/endpoint protection, and access controls. Assist with technology-related HIPAA security safeguards. Identify potential technology or cybersecurity risks and escalate concerns to leadership. Support backup, recovery, and business continuity procedures. Assist with employee cybersecurity awareness and technology best practices. Vendor & Project Coordination Serve as an internal liaison between Martin Dentistry and technology vendors. Coordinate service calls, equipment purchases, installations, repairs, and warranty issues. Help evaluate technology needs and recommend practical solutions. Assist leadership with technology projects, system implementations, office openings, and infrastructure improvements. Maintain documentation of systems, processes, equipment, vendors, and recurring issues. QualificationsRequired 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems support, desktop support, or a similar technical role. Strong knowledge of Windows-based computers and common business applications. Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, networks, and connectivity issues. Experience administering user accounts, permissions, email, and cloud-based systems. Ability to independently diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions. Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical employees. Excellent organization, documentation, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple priorities across several locations. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between Martin Dentistry offices. Preferred Experience supporting healthcare, dental, or other multi-location organizations. Experience with dental practice management or imaging software. Microsoft 365 administration experience. Knowledge of network equipment, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and VoIP phone systems. Familiarity with HIPAA technology and security requirements. Experience working with managed service providers or third-party IT vendors. CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, or similar technical certifications. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
