Job Description
Summary:
Provides network support to operational networks by performing the following dutiesEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assembles, configures network components and associate services for the Enterprise and production networks
- Sets up and maintains basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware, and provide assistance to Network Administrator
- Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems
- Upgrades network hardware and software components as required
- Installs, upgrades and configures network printers, directory structures, permissions, security, software and file services
- Provides users with network technical support
- Install phones as needed/ Communicate with Phone Company on phone issues/resolve
- Manage all functions of the phone system (how to put into night call etc.)
- Trouble shoot the PA system in the plants
- Responds to needs/questions of users concerning access of network resources
- Establish network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks installed
- Enable new users and establish security access levels
- Orders, maintains, troubleshoots all laptops, desk computers, printers, print on demand printers, and wireless scanners
- Maintains door access system hardware, software maintenance contracts
- Additional duties within the scope of the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the incumbent

A Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from an accredited 4 year college or university, or 5 or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to groups of employees, management or outside groups.Mathematical Skills:
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysisComputer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet Software; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
