Quality Control Manager Position Summary The Full-Time Field Support Technician is a flexible member of the operations team responsible for providing cleaning coverage at client locations when regularly scheduled employees are absent, when additional staffing is needed, or when other operational needs arise. When fill-in cleaning coverage is not required, the Field Support Technician will conduct routine inspections of client buildings , assist with quality control, and support other operational needs as assigned. This position requires a high level of dependability, flexibility, attention to detail, and professionalism . Because the Field Support Technician may work at multiple client locations, the individual must be comfortable adapting to different facilities, cleaning requirements, schedules, and client expectations. A clear background is required for this position. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Fill-In Cleaning Coverage Provide coverage when regularly scheduled employees are absent due to call-outs, vacation, leave, scheduling gaps, or other circumstances. Provide additional cleaning support at locations when staffing or operational needs require it. Travel between various client locations within the assigned service area. Become familiar with multiple client locations, cleaning specifications, and building requirements. Perform routine commercial cleaning duties, including: Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms Emptying trash and replacing liners Dusting and wiping surfaces Cleaning offices, breakrooms, common areas, and other assigned spaces Restocking paper products, soap, and other supplies Follow location-specific cleaning instructions, checklists, security procedures, and client requirements. Complete assigned cleaning responsibilities within the scheduled timeframe while maintaining company quality standards. Properly and safely use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while representing the company at client facilities. Building Inspections & Quality Control Building inspections will be a regular responsibility of the Field Support Technician position when fill-in coverage is not required .
Responsibilities may include:
Conduct routine inspections of assigned client buildings to ensure cleaning standards and client expectations are being met. Review completed work for cleanliness, quality, and attention to detail. Identify areas that have been missed or require additional attention. Complete inspection forms, checklists, reports, photographs, or other required documentation. Communicate inspection results and concerns to the Quality Control Manager. Report recurring cleaning issues, facility concerns, supply shortages, equipment problems, or other operational needs. Address minor cleaning deficiencies during inspections when appropriate. Assist supervisors in ensuring corrective actions are completed when deficiencies are identified. Help maintain consistency in cleaning standards across client locations. Provide feedback regarding building conditions and opportunities to improve service quality. Scheduling & Availability This is a full-time position designed to provide flexible operational coverage. The Field Support Technician should understand that: Daily assignments and work locations may change based on operational needs. The primary responsibility of the position is to provide coverage wherever it is most needed. The employee may be assigned to multiple locations during a workweek or workday. The employee must be ok traveling to any building location that Give Clean services. Fill-in assignments may occasionally be communicated with short notice. When cleaning coverage is not required, scheduled hours may be used for building inspections, quality-control activities, special cleaning projects, training, supply assistance, or other operational responsibilities. Flexibility and reliable communication are essential requirements of this position. Qualifications Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience preferred. Previous quality-control, inspection, or supervisory experience is a plus. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cleaning or quality concerns. Dependable, punctual, and flexible. Ability to adapt quickly to different client locations and cleaning requirements. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, and clients when necessary. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between assigned client locations are required. Ability to use a mobile phone or other technology for scheduling, timekeeping, inspections, photographs, and communication. A clear background is required for this position. Physical Requirements Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, reaching, kneeling, and performing repetitive movements. Pushing and pulling cleaning equipment. Lifting and carrying cleaning supplies, trash, and equipment as required for assigned duties. Traveling throughout and inspecting client facilities. Safely operating standard commercial cleaning equipment and using cleaning products. Performance Expectations The Full-Time Field Support Technician is expected to serve as a reliable and flexible resource for the Operations team . Success in this position requires the employee to: Report to assigned locations on time and prepared to work. Respond professionally and promptly to changes in assignments. Maintain consistent cleaning and inspection standards across multiple client locations. Identify and communicate quality concerns before they become client issues. Complete inspection documentation accurately and on time. Demonstrate professionalism when working in client facilities, including but not limited to communication, attitude and appearance. Maintain reliable communication with management. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through on identified issues. The Field Support Technician plays an important role in ensuring that employee absences, staffing changes, and unexpected circumstances do not negatively impact our clients. Through both fill-in cleaning coverage and routine building inspections , this position helps maintain consistent service, accountability, and quality across all client locations.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
