Provides group and one-on-one training for BISD employees using the district computer/operating system.
Uses experience with the system and research skills to find the most effective and efficient way to solve problems reported.
Utilizes and maintains tracking system for all calls and to identify areas of improvement and problems. Solves problems related to the computer system by reading and being very familiar with system manuals, and researching problems. Helps personnel with understanding which reports can be used to verify the accuracy of data entered into the computer. Sets up parameters for the use of all campuses/departments as instructed by immediate supervisor. Communicates with programmers, specialists or system administrators to detect and resolve problems and determines when to refer to others for resolution. Performs routine processing for district and monitors regular programs for completion. Provides customer service functions such as follow-up calls and site visits for service quality monitoring. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties. Maintains confidentiality. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all district employees. Maintains professional growth by attending inservices and meetings, as requested/required. Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Principal.
