Job Description

Job Overview:
The Principal Technology Specialist (IT) is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex technology-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. The Principal Technology Specialist (IT) may be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in the field of technology. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in technology as well as broad knowledge of the technology discipline within the information technology function.
Essential Qualifications and Education:
Minimum Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field or equivalent work experience ITIL certification preferred CISSP certification preferred (applicable for security professional) CCNA certification preferred (applicable for network professional) Experience leading a global team 7+ years work experience; work experience can be waived with higher than minimum Degree requirement met Experience in ERP data conversions Experience in Oracle, MySQL tools Experience in working with MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle DB, Excel, and MDM tools #LI-CA1 #
DICE Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Work with ERP Program pillar leads to understanding data conversion needs Participate in data conversion strategy Work with functional/technical teams to finalize data mappings Own end-to-end data conversions - extract, map, cleanse, enrich, load, reconcile Provide weekly status reports Run multiple mock data conversions and test the converted data Resolve data conversion issues
