Overview We are seeking an AI Applications Operations Analyst to support and manage a growing portfolio of emerging AI and digital solutions within the Upstream Geoscience organization. This role is responsible for application portfolio administration, governance support, software lifecycle coordination, risk and compliance activities, and process optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong application support experience with excellent organizational skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and business processes. This position will work closely with IT teams, business stakeholders, software vendors, and governance organizations to ensure AI applications are effectively managed, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support for the Upstream Geoscience AI application portfolio. Manage application onboarding, evaluation support, lifecycle tracking, and retirement activities. Assist with security and controls processes, including risk assessments, vulnerability assessment testing, and compliance-related activities. Coordinate and maintain registration of new AI use cases within enterprise governance processes. Maintain and update enterprise architecture and application inventory information within Ardoq. Serve as Site Collection Administrator (SCA) for SharePoint sites and support site governance activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance portfolio management efficiency and team effectiveness. Identify opportunities to optimize application group structures, software onboarding processes, and evaluation workflows. Support software license management activities, including renewals, upgrades, usage tracking, and hardware dongle administration. Monitor application upgrade activities and coordinate with stakeholders on packaging, deployment, and testing requirements. Steward software maintenance records and invoice-related information while ensuring proper documentation and tracking. Assist with Disaster Recovery planning, coordination, and testing activities as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational excellence for AI-enabled geoscience solutions. Develop familiarity with Responsible AI principles, data governance frameworks, and AI model lifecycle concepts. Create and maintain documentation, reporting, and portfolio management records. Support business stakeholders by providing effective communication and coordination across multiple initiatives. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited university. 3-10 years of experience in application support, application administration, IT operations, application portfolio management, or related technical disciplines. Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies, software applications, and business processes. Strong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive them through implementation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence. Ability to work effectively in an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting AI, data science, analytics, or digital technology initiatives. Understanding of Responsible AI principles, data governance, and AI solution lifecycle management. Prior experience in Upstream Oil & Gas or Geoscience environments. SharePoint administration and governance experience. Basic Python scripting, reporting, or dashboard development skills. Experience with enterprise architecture or application portfolio management tools such as Ardoq. Knowledge of software asset management and license administration processes. Familiarity with security, compliance, risk assessment, and disaster recovery processes.
