Job Description

AVIITEC AVL
is hiring a Showroom & Technical Support Specialist to help maintain our showroom, support product demonstrations, and assist with the technical preparation of audiovisual equipment and projects. This is a hands-on position for someone who is organized, technically inclined, comfortable working with audio, video, and lighting equipment, and enjoys helping create a professional experience for customers. What You'll Do Showroom & Demonstrations Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom. Ensure product displays and demonstration equipment are organized, presentable, and operational. Prepare the showroom for customer visits, product demonstrations, training sessions, and company events. Operate audio, video, and lighting equipment during demonstrations and presentations. Reset and organize equipment following demonstrations and events. Technical Support Test audio, video, lighting, and other demonstration equipment. Perform basic equipment diagnostics and troubleshooting. Assist with equipment setup, configuration, and functional testing. Update equipment firmware when needed. Identify equipment requiring repair, maintenance, or further technical evaluation. Maintain basic technical documentation and equipment information. Project Support Assist with the technical preparation of equipment for installations and projects. Assist with basic rack assembly, cabling, and equipment connections. Organize equipment, tools, cables, and accessories needed for projects. Work with the warehouse team to prepare equipment when projects or events require additional support. What We're Looking For Strong interest in audio, video, lighting, electronics, or audiovisual technology. Comfortable working with technical equipment and learning new systems. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain a professional and customer-ready environment. Dependable and able to work independently while also being part of a team. Comfortable communicating with customers and coworkers. Ability to safely move, organize, and handle audiovisual equipment. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with professional audio, video, lighting, AV, electronics, or technical equipment. Experience with equipment installation, rack assembly, cabling, or system setup. Previous customer service, showroom, or technical-support experience. What Success Looks Like The person in this position will take ownership of the showroom and demonstration equipment. Customers should walk into a professional, organized environment where equipment is ready to demonstrate, technical issues are addressed promptly, and the showroom is consistently prepared for meetings, demonstrations, and events.
