This position ensures end users receive timely assistance with hardware, software, network, and application issues while delivering a high standard of customer service. In addition to resolving day-to-day support requests, this role will assist with advanced technical issues, infrastructure initiatives, system improvements, and the ongoing reliability and security of the organization's technology environment. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business applications. Respond to service requests through phone, email, ticketing platforms, and in-person support. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and user access issues. Act as an escalation point for complex support requests requiring advanced technical troubleshooting. Document incidents and service requests accurately within the IT ticketing system. Follow established procedures for incident management, prioritization, and escalation. Support onboarding activities including account creation, device deployment, software installation, and user provisioning. Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and other business-critical systems. Participate in routine maintenance activities including updates, patching, monitoring, and health checks. Support technology projects, infrastructure enhancements, system upgrades, and location rollouts. Communicate effectively with end users and stakeholders to ensure a positive support experience. Maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and system records. Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and improve service delivery. Assist with hardware and software asset management activities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements. Qualifications Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of experience in IT support, service desk, systems administration, or related technical roles. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and enterprise desktop environments. Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wireless networking, and connectivity troubleshooting. Experience supporting Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, endpoint management, and user administration. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation is considered an asset. Experience working with IT service management or ticketing platforms is preferred. Experience supporting distributed locations and remote users is an asset. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, ITIL Foundation, or similar credentials are considered advantageous
