Pay Range:

$103.40-$107.36/hr (~$215K-$223K annually) Experience 10+ years Position Summary Seeking a senior Technical Lead to drive the technical direction of a multi-application support team for the FEC. This role provides hands-on leadership across application sustainment, enhancements, security, and modernization in a complex, mission-critical environment. Key Responsibilities Lead application support, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and enhancements Ensure secure SDLC practices, code quality, testing, and release readiness Support CI/CD processes, deployments, and post-release validation Oversee database activities, including Oracle to PostgreSQL migration support Review solutions for performance, scalability, security, and maintainability Coordinate vulnerability remediation and security fixes Maintain technical documentation and support UAT activities Mentor team members and collaborate with stakeholders Required Qualifications Experience leading application support or modernization teams Strong Java and Apache Tomcat expertise Solid SQL skills; experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL Cloud experience (AWS or similar) Knowledge of secure coding, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git), and Jira Experience with testing, release management, and documentation Must be local to the DC area or available on-site as needed Ability to obtain required federal clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with Aurora PostgreSQL, Oracle migrations, Informatica, Crystal Reports, shell scripting, accessibility (Section 508), security tools (e.g., OWASP ZAP), and federal environments. Profile Hands-on technical leader with strong problem-solving skills, able to balance speed, quality, and security while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
