September 1, 2026 ReliaSource is hiring an entry-level IT Field Recovery and Transportation Specialist to support a large-scale IT asset recovery and disposition program in Virginia. The position is based in the Glen Allen / Richmond Metro Area and involves traveling to locations throughout Virginia to pick up, move, document, and transport laptops, desktops, monitors, and other IT equipment. This is a hands-on, travel-oriented position. Assignments may range from local and same-day pickups to multi-day, round-robin collection trips throughout Virginia, including approved overnight stays. ReliaSource provides the vehicles, which may include vans and box trucks. Key Responsibilities- Drive ReliaSource-provided vans and potentially box trucks to scheduled asset pickup and delivery locations.
- Safely handle, load, secure, transport, unload, and transfer IT equipment.
- Perform physical device moves associated with assigned asset recovery activities.
- Verify equipment and maintain required chain-of-custody and asset records.
- Update assigned work in the program's IT service management (ITSM) system.
- Follow applicable security, safety, vehicle-use, and asset-handling procedures. What We're Looking For
- Entry-level or early-career candidate; 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Reliable, professional, organized, and comfortable with frequent driving and travel.
- Willingness and ability to complete local, same-day, and multi-day assignments throughout Virginia, including overnight travel when required.
- Comfortable operating company-provided vans and potentially box trucks following required training and authorization.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn applicable systems and procedures.
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of the position, including regularly handling, moving, loading, and unloading computer equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Successful completion of required background screening is required.
