Job Description
Responsibilities Assist with onsite and remote technical support for employee incidents and service requests under the guidance of Technology Services team members. Respond to employee questions professionally and provide timely status updates. Create and update tickets in the incident tracking system, including troubleshooting steps, actions taken, follow-up conversations, and resolutions. Troubleshoot common Windows and Mac hardware, software, connectivity, peripheral, and mobile-device issues. Escalate issues to the appropriate technician or support group when additional expertise or access is required. Assist with desktop software installations, hardware setup, device deployments, and equipment inventory activities. Support new employee technology orientation and help create easy-to-follow user guidance. Contribute solutions and lessons learned to the IT Knowledge Base. Learn and use enterprise support tools, processes, and service-management practices. Participate in team projects and process-improvement initiatives based on business needs. Qualifications Currently pursuing an associate, bachelor's, or relevant technical degree or certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Basic understanding of computer hardware, Windows or macOS, Microsoft applications, networking concepts, or mobile devices gained through coursework, labs, personal projects, volunteering, or part-time work. Interest in technology and a willingness to learn new tools and processes. Clear verbal and written communication skills. Customer-focused attitude with patience, professionalism, and respect for others. Ability to organize work, follow instructions, document details, and manage multiple assignments. Ability to work independently when appropriate and collaborate effectively with a team. Compensation The U.S. hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
