IT Asset Management Specialist

•This is a 9-month contract position -

On-site Description:

Manages IT hardware and software assets from acquisition through retirement, maintaining inventory, transfers, audits, tickets, warranties, contracts, licenses, PC refreshes, and compliance reports.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate the transfer of IT assets between business units within 5 to 7 business days. Generate, distribute, and review weekly IT asset management reports. Complete ITSM tickets within 7 - 10 business days. Monitor the ITSM IT Asset Management queue on a daily basis. Update notes with clear and accurate information to ensure that the lifecycle of the ticket is accurately captured. Correctly manage the ITAM queue. Assist with the Asset IMAC and PC Refresh process. Perform periodic inventories and usage monitoring of all IT assets and record all findings, changes in physical location, and instances of support. Track and maintain copies of hardware warranties, maintenance agreements, leases, and vendor contracts, including contract expirations. Assist in tracking and maintaining software licenses. Perform periodic software audits of installs on desktops, servers, and network equipment. Assist in the reconciliation process of the software repository with the approval list on a semiannual basis.
