Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Associate to join our Information Technology team. The IT Associate will provide technical support to employees, maintain hardware and software systems, assist with network administration, and ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a passion for technology. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and security updates. Manage user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access requests. Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including device setup and account provisioning. Monitor and maintain IT inventory, licenses, and equipment records. Support Microsoft 365 applications, email systems, and collaboration tools. Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or vendors when necessary. Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the IT ticketing system. Assist with cybersecurity initiatives, system backups, and data protection practices. Participate in technology projects, upgrades, and system deployments. Qualifications Required Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 1-3 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or IT operations. Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365. Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Knowledge of endpoint management tools and cybersecurity best practices. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and virtualization platforms.
