The IT Support Specialist provides dependable frontline technology support for Anthony's restaurant and corporate teams. The role owns routine service requests, user and endpoint support, onboarding and offboarding execution, restaurant technology troubleshooting, asset records, vendor follow-through, and operational documentation. This position is intended to improve service consistency and coverage while allowing the Systems Administrator to spend more sustained time on infrastructure, security, recovery, systems administration, and technical projects. The successful candidate will be comfortable with hands-on support today and interested in developing toward broader systems responsibilities over time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Own first-level support requests from restaurant and corporate users, including intake, diagnosis, resolution, escalation, communication, and follow-through. Troubleshoot workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, phones, audiovisual equipment, CCTV endpoints, and restaurant technology peripherals. Execute employee onboarding and offboarding tasks, including device preparation, account setup, access changes, equipment recovery, and completion tracking. Perform routine Microsoft 365, directory, identity, password, multifactor authentication, mailbox, group, and access administration within established procedures. Deploy, replace, configure, and maintain endpoints and mobile devices using approved standards and management tools. Maintain accurate hardware, software, assignment, warranty, and lifecycle records. Coordinate vendor cases and site visits, track progress, communicate status, and confirm resolution. Create and maintain support procedures, knowledge articles, configuration records, and user guidance. Travel to restaurant locations for technology support, deployments, maintenance, and readiness activities. Participate in an agreed after-hours support rotation and respond to priority operational incidents when scheduled.

Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, and mobile-device administration Basic network, Wi-Fi, connectivity, and restaurant technology diagnosis Routine endpoint patching, monitoring review, and remediation follow-through Backup-job review and escalation of exceptions Defined infrastructure tasks and technical project activities Vendor-supported changes, deployments, testing, and documentation Experience and qualifications: Two or more years of experience in IT support, service desk, desktop support, field support, or a comparable hands-on technology role. Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365, user accounts, permissions, and common endpoint troubleshooting. Experience with M365, Active Directory, Intune, and basic networking is preferred. Experience with Veeam, Ubiquiti, Cisco Meraki is a plus. Experience supporting hospitality, restaurant, retail, or other multi-site operations is helpful but not required. Ability to organize work, document solutions, communicate clearly, and maintain ownership through resolution. Strong service orientation, sound judgment, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from more senior technical resources. Ability to travel among restaurant locations and work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as operational needs require. Relevant certifications or equivalent practical experience are welcome but not required.
Success in the role:
Routine requests are owned and resolved consistently, with clear communication and appropriate escalation. Onboarding, offboarding, asset records, and recurring support tasks are completed accurately and on time. Restaurant and corporate users experience dependable support and better visibility into request status. Documentation and cross-training improve coverage and reduce dependence on individual knowledge. The Systems Administrator gains measurable time for infrastructure, security, recovery, and project work. The employee develops broader capability without losing focus on the support ownership the role was created to provide.
