Cloud Technology Consultant - Data Analytics & Decommissioning Overview We're hiring a data-driven Cloud Technology Consultant to support global server decommissioning programs . This role combines data analytics, business intelligence, and program management to drive infrastructure optimization across data centers. Key Responsibilities Manage data analytics and reporting for server decommissioning initiatives Build and enhance Power BI dashboards to track progress and capacity recovery Query and analyze data using Kusto (KQL) to generate insights Support end-to-end server decommission lifecycle and site closures (data centers, co-location, edge sites) Drive optimization of space, power, cooling, and network resources Leverage Power Apps and internal tools to improve reporting and workflows Partner cross-functionally to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Required Skills Power BI , Kusto (KQL) , and Power Apps Program/project management experience in technical environments Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets Background in data analytics or business intelligence Preferred Background Experience in IT infrastructure, server lifecycle, or data centers Familiarity with hardware decommissioning or optimization efforts Previous experience in Microsoft or large-scale cloud environments What We're Looking For Strong blend of analytics + execution mindset Ability to turn data into actionable insights Comfortable working in large, complex environments Impact Drive measurable improvements in global infrastructure efficiency , freeing up critical capacity and resources across data centers.
