Job Summary:
The Level 3 IT Technician is a senior-level support role responsible for managing high-complexity technical issues, infrastructure projects, and advance troubleshooting. This position also involves contributing to IT strategy, documentation, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as final escalation point for technical support issues that cannot be resolved by Level 1 or Level 2 staff.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolution to recurring problems.
  • Manage infrastructure components including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
  • Support and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Lead and implement IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • Maintain and monitor system performance, availability, and security.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOP's, and network diagrams.
  • collaborate with other departments to align IT services with business goals.
  • Provide training and support to junior technicians and end-users.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in IT support or systems administration.
  • proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, virtualization, and backup solutions.
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
  • Certification such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, or Cisco
CCNA/CCNP
are a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Working Conditions
  • May require occasional lifting of equipment (up to 30 lbs.)
  • Some off-hours or weekend support may be needed.
This position requires use of Information or access to hardware that is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be US person within the meaning of

$80,000.00
