IT Support Specialist (Desktop & Mobile Device Support)

Long-term contract (12+ months) Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide software, desktop, and handheld device support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a proven commitment to reliability, attendance, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities + Provide phone-based and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software applications. + Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, imaging, and access-related issues. + Perform laptop hardware repairs and component replacement, including memory, motherboards, and other internal components. + Image and configure systems for deployment. + Communicate effectively with users and internal support teams to resolve technical issues. + Document support activities and maintain accurate records. + Manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service. Required Qualifications + Experience troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues. + Ability to disassemble and reassemble laptops for repair. + Experience with operating system imaging and deployment. + Strong customer service and communication skills. + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation. + Must be able to work onsite five days per week. + Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance are required. + Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card /Permanent Resident. Preferred Qualifications + CompTIA A+ Certification (or willingness to obtain within one year of hire). + Additional IT certifications such as Google IT Support, Coursera IT, or similar. + Previous help desk, desktop support, or technical support experience. Additional Requirements + Ability to pass a drug screening (non-THC) and 7-year background check. + Occasional travel may be required for training and support activities. + Candidates must be dependable and able to maintain regular attendance, particularly because this position supports business-critical operations.
