Service Support Engineer (Technical)

Our client is seeking Service Support Engineers to join their team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and pay is up to $32/hr based on experience.

ROLE OVERVIEW

: This position provides technical phone-based support to customers, Field Service Engineers, and internal staff. The focus is on troubleshooting and resolving issues related to industrial machinery, including mechanical and electrical systems (software knowledge is a plus but not required).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

:

• Troubleshooting equipment issues via phone and virtual support
• Supporting customers and Field Service Engineers in the field
• Assisting with repairs, diagnostics, and parts identification
• Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical prints
• Documenting service activity and contributing to technical knowledge resources

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two-year technical training in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly is preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

:

• Background in machinery or industrial equipment industry
• Ability to read bills of material (BOM), schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Must demonstrate competency in both mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Knowledge and experience using Windows operating system and environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Must demonstrate exceptional telephone etiquette.
• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and behavior.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must demonstrate the ability to maintain a calm and collected composure.
• Must adhere to appropriate office etiquette and protocol.

Pay:

$27.00 - $32.00 per hour
