Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Computer Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer hardware, software and network systems to ensure seamless operational efficiency. Your expertise will help resolve technical issues promptly, support end-users and contribute to the overall health of our IT infrastructure. This position offers an opportunity to apply your technical proficiency in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers and peripheral devices across the organization. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems ensuring minimal downtime. Manage system administration tasks, user account setup, permissions and password resets. Perform hardware maintenance and repairs on computer hardware components to optimize performance and longevity. Assist with Server administration tasks, including system updates, backups and security patches. Conduct regular hardware support activities and assist in IT infrastructure upgrades to enhance system reliability. Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with users of varying technical backgrounds and ensuring their needs are met efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in IT support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of operating systems. Technical proficiency in hardware maintenance, software troubleshooting and system administration. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Ability to perform hardware repairs on computers and peripherals efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components such as routers, switches, firewalls and servers is highly desirable. Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
