Job Description
Ensure reliable, secure and efficient IT operations for the plant by providing timely end-user support, maintaining infrastructure and applications, managing IT assets, and supporting compliance with company policies and applicable standards. Operate and monitor plant IT systems, networks and infrastructure to maintain availability, performance and operational continuity. Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, telecommunications and application issues; document work through the ticketing process until resolution. Perform hands-on support activities, including hardware deployment, software installation, configuration, printer support, backups and basic system administration. Support network infrastructure activities in coordination with Network Operations, including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting. Implement and maintain cybersecurity practices that protect IT systems, data and users from threats. Maintain accurate inventory and asset records, including lifecycle updates for devices and related equipment. Train and orient users on IT systems, support processes, security awareness and best practices. Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, ISO/HSE requirements, regulatory expectations and company standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field preferred; associate/technical degree or equivalent experience acceptable where applicable. Approximately 5 years of relevant IT operations, technical support, systems or manufacturing IT support experience preferred A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft, Cisco or related certifications desirable. IT operations, technical support, cybersecurity basics, network infrastructure support, software/application support, asset management and documentation. Customer focus, action orientation, planning, communication, collaboration, time management, results orientation and continuous improvement. Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
