12 Months+ Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure modernization, security, networking, and DevOps practices. This role will work closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, and business teams to develop cloud strategies and deliver enterprise-grade solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures aligned with business and technical requirements. Develop cloud migration and modernization strategies for applications and infrastructure. Architect solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend opportunities for cloud adoption, optimization, and cost reduction. Define cloud standards, reference architectures, design patterns, and best practices. Design cloud networking, identity and access management, compute, storage, databases, and integration solutions. Implement and promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep. Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. Ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance, availability, performance, and disaster recovery requirements. Work with cybersecurity teams to implement cloud security controls and governance. Monitor cloud environments and recommend improvements related to performance, reliability, and cost optimization. Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and solution design documents. Provide technical leadership and guidance to cloud engineers, developers, and infrastructure teams. Participate in architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and proof-of-concept initiatives. Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and integration issues when required. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or enterprise architecture. 4+ years of hands-on cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise architecture. Experience designing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions. Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancing, VPN, firewalls, and connectivity. Experience with IAM, encryption, secrets management, and cloud security best practices. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform . Experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes . Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices. Experience with databases, storage services, messaging, APIs, and cloud-native application architectures. Excellent problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred Qualifications Cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect .
