Systems Engineer

NEW AVIONICS SYSTEMS ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY SUPPORTING ADVANCED SYSTEMS FOR A HELICOPTER AND OTHER AIRCRAFT

Job Description As a Systems Engineer, you will support and participate in our Quality Management System, focusing on the integration of advanced avionics systems in various aircraft. You will work within a systems integration laboratory environment and oversee or perform hands-on troubleshooting of avionics components when necessary. Responsibilities Support and participate in the Quality Management System. Integrate suites of advanced avionics to function on various aircraft. Participate as part of an engineering team focused on avionics integration. Oversee or perform hands-on troubleshooting of avionics components in laboratory or hangar environments. Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Engineering Director.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. Expert knowledge of establishing, tracking, and maintaining requirements. Ability to have or obtain DoD SECRET clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Effective time management and organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 2-10 years' experience in a relevant field. Experience with requirements using DOORs, including developing, tracking, and modeling. Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools. Experience documenting and briefing with strong writing skills. Aviation company experience is preferred. Experience with Blackhawk, Airbus, helicopter, and aviation systems. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Guntersville, AL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
