Senior Systems Engineer Location:
Oro Valley, AZ Job Type:
4-Month Contract (Possibility of Extension)
Pay Rate:
$50.00 - $60.00/hour +
Benefits Work Schedule:
Onsite | Monday-Friday | Flexible hours (typically 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Senior Systems Engineer with experience working on complex electro-mechanical systems . This is an onsite contract opportunity with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong systems engineering experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to develop and execute testing strategies in a regulated engineering environment. Responsibilities Generate design concepts and participate in design reviews. Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans and protocols. Perform system development and testing to verify performance against design specifications. Conduct reliability testing and evaluate system interactions. Develop test methods (TMV) and Design of Experiments (DoE). Analyze sensor digital output data using Python. Develop and improve test beds and testing infrastructure. Troubleshoot complex system issues and determine root causes. Support the development and improvement of manufacturing processes. Author technical documentation, including protocols, reports, and test results. Manage the defect lifecycle, including defect collection, documentation, tracking, and summarization. Make independent engineering decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Required Skills Risk and requirements management. Technical writing (protocols, reports, test documentation, etc.). Demonstrated experience working with complex systems. Test Method Validation (TMV). Test Method Development. Design of Experiments (DoE). Python for data analysis. Sensor data analysis. Test bed development. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred). Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience. Experience with complex electro-mechanical systems. Experience in an FDA- or FAA-regulated environment is highly preferred. Medical device industry experience is strongly preferred. Interview Process Two rounds of virtual interviews. #
WCH Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
