Title:
Systems Engineer -
On-Market Support Location:
Tucson, AZ, USA, 85755
Duration:
3 Months - Contract may be renewed into 2027 based on candidate performance and business need
Description:
Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments. General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions. Makes independent decisions. Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Test Method Development, DoE, data analysis (python coding capability) Digital outputs of a sensor and analyze the data Test bed development Troubleshooting skills Developing comprehensive testing plans. Executing hands-on testing protocols Authoring detailed technical reports. Managing the defect lifecycle (collection, documentation, and summarization for our development partner).
MUST HAVE SKILLS
Risk and requirements management experience Solid technical writing skills (e.g., protocols, reports, etc.) Demonstrated experience with complex electro-mechanical systems
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Degree:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Software preferred)
Years of Experience:
4 yrs+ Experience in a FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus; Medical device industry is ideal
